Our Mission
We turn neuroscience into tools that women can use every day. Our programs support women in China to reduce stress, focus better, and build mental habits that carry them through work, family, and unexpected moments. Each tool is easy to learn, fits into her routine, and meets her where she is.
Why we started - Our Legacy
I founded FemCourage in memory of my sister, Yong Yong, whose name means “Bold Courage.” Yong Yong lived with epilepsy and brain cancer, yet she faced life with strength and resilience. Her journey inspires everything we do at FemCourage—a space where women, caregivers, and adolescents find the courage to thrive.
My personal challenges shaped this mission, too. As a teenager, I struggled with depression, and it resurfaced after my daughter was born. Those experiences taught me the importance of community, resilience, and having tools to navigate life’s toughest moments.
FemCourage is a tribute to Yong Yong and every woman who chooses courage over fear. It’s where we share stories, build strength, and explore sceince-based tools to support emotional well-being. Together, we create a ripple effect of courage and connection that starts here in Shanghai and grows outward.
